1. Schedule a Consultation With Dr. Desman
Your smile journey is as unique as your clear aligners. This is why we offer a free consultation with Dr. Alex Desman.
From your medical and family histories to your smile goals, we’ll ask all the relevant questions to determine if clear aligners are the perfect treatment for you.
We’ll also capture digital images and X-rays of your teeth so we can create a personalized treatment plan just for your smile needs.
2. Meet Your First Clear Aligners
Goopy clay molds? Not in our clinic. We use digital impressions to create your set of clear aligners. You’ll wear them for 22 hours a day and rinse them each night before going to bed.
At first, your clear aligners may feel a little tight. But over the next several days, they’ll become more comfortable as they gradually and gently nudge your teeth into alignment.
3. Move On to Your Next Step
Every two weeks, you’ll replace your clear aligners with a new set. You can do this at home, so there’s no need to drop by our Port St. Lucie office.
Of course, we’ll still want to check up on your progress. Every month, you’ll meet up with Dr. Desman and his expert team in the office to ensure your treatment stays on schedule.
4. Wear Your Retainers
After you take off your last clear aligner trays, we’ll preserve that beautiful smile of yours with a custom-made retainer from Dr. Desman.
You’ll wear this retainer at night to help prevent your teeth from moving to their original positions and delaying your progress.
